About the series
Monoliths is a study in solitary form. A lighthouse gone dark, a row of pillars eaten by salt, a single drum framed in shadow - each image removes the scene's context until only the object and the light remain. What interests me is the surface: the peeling paint, the pitted aggregate, the rust that records decades of weather as texture.
